Palo Alto Engagement Photographer – Picnic Engagement- Aaron&Jaclyn

Aaron&Jaclyn met 2 years ago at Jaclyn’s sister’s wedding. They were both in the bridal party and hit it off really well. As you can imagine, lots of double dates are spent with Jaclyn’s sister and husband, what a fun story!

We met these two in Palo Alto near Stanford University in a local park that only residents in the area have access to. The park had a little pond that families were fishing off of and lots of rolling hills that overlooked the surrounding areas. Just beautiful! We really cherished our sweet time with these two. It’s so nice for us to get out of the office, away from our computers, and do the art we love so much. This session was totally refreshing and a great mid-week break from editing. We loved spending time with Aaron&Jaclyn and hearing about upcoming wedding plans!

Thank you new friends for adventuring with us!

Stunning! I want so badly to be achieving the look you guys always seem to get! How in the world do you get such great sharpness and exposure? Is it in the editing? Or is it in the camera? I’d love to know for my own business, please! As always, this is absolutely beautiful.

    • Thank you Angela! Oh and sorry we never responded to your previous comment, totally slipped our minds! In response to your previous question, no we do not use flashes for lighting during the day. We do use flash during reception when the sun’s down, but if the sun’s out we love to use the natural lighting reflecting off of surrounding objects and surfaces. The look is a combination of all those things you mentioned! There’s so many factors that play into it, we’re thinking it’d be best to help you out via another educational blog post hopefully later this week or early next, hold us to that!

Beautiful setting. I am a bit biased as Aaron and Jaclyn are beautiful inside and out and the pictures reflect their inner glow.

So the whole entire Picnic Setting is just the CUTEST idea EVER!!!
It ties well together with the overall theme of the engagement session!!!

    Top 3 Pics:
The first one with the two of them with the picnic setting
The one overlooking the lake and they are both standing on the dock next to each other
Also the one overlooking the lake where both Aaron and Jaclyn are embracing each other through thier arms.
