We are so excited to share with you our trip to Paris! Every-time I look at these photos, I am immediately filled with so much nostalgia from our trip. We had the most amazing time together that was filled with adventure and lots of rest. We booked this trip about six months out knowing it would be the end of our wedding season in California. As much as I am a planner, we didn’t really plan much until we landed in Paris. We had an idea of what we wanted to do but the first night we were there, we planned out our week. We hit a lot of touristy spots first like the Louvre, Eiffel Tower, Palace of Versailles. Afterwards, we felt a little touristed out, so we decided to wander in some of our favorite neighborhoods and discover some hidden non-touristy gems. Our routine consisted of waking up, finding a new coffee shop, wandering through the neighborhoods for photo adventures and discovering delicious food along the way.Read More
A few weeks ago Stephen and I were in Mendocino for a beautiful wedding on the coast at the Heritage House Resort. The wedding took place overlooking the cliffs and had the most spectacular views. Like most of our personal work, we only brought our medium format film camera. This time in particular, we chose only to shoot on our new Hasselblad so I could get used to using it faster for our newborn sessions. This camera is super fun as it’s all manual, has no batteries or anything. It shoots in a unique 6x6 square format which is fun and creatively challenging.
Several weeks ago we were in Los Angeles for the second round of Stephen's tattoo project. This will be one of the first of many trips throughout the next few years that we'll be making together to complete this piece. Stephen has been on a world-class tattoo artist's waitlist since 2013 and this year it was finally his time to start this exciting project.Read More
Every year we get the privilege of traveling to new destinations for weddings. This East Coast wedding was extra special however, because the groom Phil is a childhood friend of mine!
Before my family moved out to California, we lived in a suburb of Chicago, Illinois called Wheaton. It was in Wheaton that we met the Whiteman family and Phil and I connected right away. After many years of fun memories, I moved out of state and didn't think I'd see these friends much again…Read More
A few weeks ago, Stephen and I went on our families annual summer vacation. We had photographed 10 wedding weekends in a row. We had been looking forward to having some time away from the office. For our family getaways, we choose a a fun location that allows everyone to get much needed rest but also spend quality time together. This year, we decided to spend a night in Portland and then go onto Cannon Beach area for the rest of the week.Read More

A few weeks ago, Stephen and I were in Portland Maine for a very exciting destination wedding for one of our TréCreative couples. Although we would have loved to stay longer, our day and a half of sight seeing and exploring the beautiful state of Maine was just what we needed. The wedding we were originally there for went off without a hitch and after sleeping in the next day, we started grabbing coffee.Read More
We saw so much in Spain and were literally on the move constantly. We got a great taste of different regions of Spain in such a short amount of time. For the last part of our trip, we headed to Portugal, Spains' neighboring country.Read More
