Shaffer Ranch Wedding - Chico Wedding Photographer - Casey&Dani

Casey&Dani are just adorable together! They make a wedding photographer's job such a breeze. These two have become so much more than clients, on the wedding day we felt just like we were watching two great friends get married, such an honor!

Dani got ready in a big suite here in Chico so all her close family and fabulous bridesmaids could get ready with her. There was so much energy in the room and we totally admired how focused each girl was on making Dani feel like the gorgeous bride she was on that day! Casey&Dani opted to do a "first look" which gave us plenty of time to walk all over Shaffer Ranch for photos without the pressure of time. They also were able to enjoy several moments alone together with no cameras around to soak in the whole day before we started with their wedding portraits. After visiting the gorgeous willow tree and dancing through the field nearby, they were joined by their big bridal party which was filled with so many fun and dear friends.

Casey&Dani, thank you for trusting us with your wedding day! From the moment we met for coffee, your story and the way you interacted with one another drew us to you. We love the way you serve each other and your families. You did such an amazing job greeting and being so gracious with all your wedding guests. Your future is so bright and we are thankful to have captured the start of this epic marriage adventure!

We loved how Dani's flowers arrived early at her suite! That gave us plenty of time to stylize and incorporate her arrangements into all these detail photos.

Megan from the Powder Room did a phenomenal job with Dani's makeup!

Mindy and her staff from Special Times Catering did such an awesome job as always, greeting guests and serving them the best food!

Sunset photos are often our favorite time of the wedding day, the sun is low and everything just glows.

Back to the reception for their first dance!

Some words of wisdom on marriage from grandparents.

DJ Brock Weddings kept the crowd movin' and groovin' (and entertained with his awesome dance moves) all night long!

Congrats Mr.&Mrs. Hilsee!!
