Upper Park Sunset Engagement Photos - Paul&Jessica

Paul and Jessica have a lot to celebrate and we feel honored that we get to capture some of the most monumental parts of their year. Both Paul and Jessica finished school within a matter of a few weeks from taking these photos. That's a huge accomplishment in itself. Paul graduated with a degree in engineering all while being an active in the Army Reserves and Jessica in nursing! Within that same year they got engaged, and the icing on the cake is that they are getting married in the Fall! What an incredible year 2018 has been so far and will continue to be for them! Way to go, we are so excited for you guys.

Panther Beach Santa Cruz Engagement Photos - Danny&Gina

Danny&Gina met us at one of our favorite beaches off Highway 1 just outside of Santa Cruz for their engagement photos. In college, Stephen and I worked at a summer camp in the Santa Cruz mountains and on our days off, we would often venture to Panther Beach, the same place we took these photos for Danny&Gina. Being back in this area of Northern California brought back a lot of memories and we were excited to create a new memory with these two.

Upper Park Chico Engagement Photos - Mason&Holly

We met Mason&Holly in Upper Park Chico for their engagement photo session this Spring. After having some serious rain showers for a few days, Bidwell Park is so lush and green right now. Our favorite time of the evening for these photo sessions is catching our beautiful California sun flare close to sunset. Upper Park during this time of year is peaceful.

Rodeo Beach San Francisco Engagement Photographer – Petar&Hannah

Petar&Hannah chose the most beautiful location for their San Francisco engagement photos. When talking about where they wanted to have their photos taken, they wanted to incorporate a sandy beach and end with a beautiful overlook of the water. Marin Headlands is a beautiful area that has breathtaking views of San Francisco and has lots of beach access. Rodeo Beach was the perfect place to start their engagement session and we had the whole beach to ourselves.

Northern California Butte Meadows Engagement Photos – Nick&Moriah

We met Nick&Moriah at one of our favorite engagement photo locations in Northern California, Butte Meadows. There hadn’t been much snow in the last few weeks but the whole mountain area was just breathtaking. The ground in most areas was wet from the rainfall but as we trecked through a few areas together, we found the most amazing locations for these two.

We are so excited to share with you Ryan and Jessica’s Sonoma engagement session. Since they booked us a few months ago, we have been so looking forward to getting to know them more. They are both from Sonoma County and picked the most amazing locations for their engagement photos. When we initially Skyped with them, they had already expressed that they had thought about engagement photos and had great locations in mind. We could have easily done their whole photo session at one of the amazing three locations they chose, they were each just that good!

Bidwell Park Engagement Photos - Ryan&Caitlin

Ryan&Caitlin currently live in Idaho and flew in around Thanksgiving for their engagement session. Caitlin grew up just a town over from Chico and has always loved the look of Upper Bidwell Park right near Monkey Face. Fall colors are always so beautiful to photograph, but there is something so unique about the tall grass in Upper Park. The area's Caitlin mentioned for photos, just so happened to be some of our own personal favorite locations in Chico.

Lower Bidwell Park Engagement Photography - Kirk&Layne

If you've never visited Chico before, some of the first places locals will tell you to go will include exploring both Lower and Upper Bidwell Park. The park stretches through the heart of Chico and is pretty much any photographer's dream because it has endless photo locations. It's especially beautiful for engagement photography sessions! With all the weather and season changes the colors in the park are stunning. With Bidwell practically in our backyard, we take advance of this gorgeous location whenever possible!
