Library Galleria Sacramento Wedding - Jamie&Cheryl

Jamie&Cheryl planned their downtown Sacramento wedding at the Cathedral with reception to follow at Library Galleria on a beautiful summer afternoon.

Both Jamie&Cheryl got ready on downtown J Street at one of our favorite getting ready locations, the Citizen Hotel. The towering hotel has amazing views all across the city and even in Jamie's room, you could see the Cathedral where Jamie&Cheryl's ceremony took place. The rooms also have lots of natural light which is a huge plus whenever taking photos indoors. The couple lives in Arizona but planned a destination wedding in Sacramento near where Cheryl grew up in Northern California.

Cheryl's room had an amazing balcony lookout you could see the whole city from. We took bridesmaids there and then finished up groomsmen photos down in the park nearby.

Cheryl's grandmother played the grand piano while guests made their way to their seats. This was extremely special for Cheryl to have her grandmother be a part of her wedding in this way. Everything always sounds so beautiful in the Cathedral! After the ceremony, we headed all around downtown for portraits of the couple together before heading indoors for their ballroom reception. Jamie&Cheryl gave us total creative direction when choosing their photo locations and we truly appreciate that. They were both so easy going and we loved spending the day with them! Friends and family from all over the country joined them and danced the night away!
