Chicago Illinois Destination Engagement Photographer - Destination Wedding - Justin&Courtney

Justin&Courtney live in the heart of the city. Within walking distance from any place you could possibly think of wanting to go in Chicago! We love that part about the city. They flew us out for their engagement session and graciously took us to several local spots. It was a great little tour as we walked around the city for their engagement photos. We went from the historic Kinzie Bridge to Lincoln Park and a few other locations that provided a spectacular view of Chicago's skyline. Justin&Courtney met online and soon fell in love. Being in the wedding industry, we have definitely seen this as common with so many of our couples these days! We give online dating a double thumbs up! Especially for bringing together amazing matches like Justin&Courtney. From there, Justin would later propose in Boulder, CO in Chautauqua Park. Chautauqua Park is simply breathtaking and after Justin got down on one knee, Courtney said yes and took off to planning their destination wedding! We can't wait to photograph these two next year in Mexico and meet some of their closest friends and family.

After high school, we ran into each other several times at our gym and she soon sent us a message saying she was engaged! We always love hearing how our couples meet and as soon as we sat down with these two we just had to ask them. We first met Jon&Megan at Travis&Kelsey's wedding back in 2014! Megan was a good friend of Kelsey's and in her wedding party and Jon was the supportive boyfriend and wedding guest. We remember these two from that wedding and they were just as adorable then as they are now.

Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament Wedding - Daniel&Mary

Daniel&Mary were married in downtown Sacramento in one of the most breathtaking churches we have ever been in! The Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament is unbelievable. From the high ceilings that echo beautiful music, to the charming downtown Sacramento scenery that surrounds, we can totally see why girls grow up dreaming of having their wedding ceremony there! Both Daniel&Mary got ready at the Residence Inn next to Capitol Park where they shared in a first look and where the majority of their portraits took place. Jenn from Jenn Robirds Events made the day go off without a hitch! We know the couple was incredibly grateful for all she and her team did to make sure their wedding was that much more enjoyable! After the ceremony, guests walked across the street to the Elks Tower where the reception was held in a gorgeous ballroom on the second floor. Cocktail hour was extended so everyone had extra time to mingle with the bride and groom. After dinner was served, the band lead the whole reception and kept everyone dancing the night away!
