Puerto Vallarta Mexico Destination Wedding Video Nuevo Vallarta by Vidanta – Zach&Tana
Zach&Tana planned the most amazing destination Mexico wedding in Puerto Vallarta at the Vidanta Resort. In attendance were about 100 of their closest friends and family who traveled from afar to celebrate during the whole week leading up to their wedding. To have that many guests travel to a destination wedding really says a lot about the loyalty and character of Zach&Tana!
Zach&Tana met while in college attending Gonzaga University in Washington. They were in the same large friend group that you will see throughout the wedding film. Zach was very persistent on pursuing Tana. Since they were already friends, Tana was worried that if they dated it might make things weird. After much determination from Zach, Tana agreed to a date and she’s so glad she did! I’m also sure that all their Zag friends are equally thankful these two decided to date because if it weren’t for them, they wouldn’t all be in Mexico together celebrating such a happy occasion. Their wedding was one big Gonzaga reunion and friend get together!
The Vidanta Resort is a place Zach and his family have been coming on vacation for years. Once our couple was engaged, they started planning and quickly began thinking of having a destination wedding. Since Vidanta has so many happy memories for Zach’s family already, having Tana come with him on vacation created a special place in her heart as well.
Zach and Tana each chose their siblings as their solo bridal party members. This decision was made because of how much they love their family, but also because they have so many close friends it would be impossible to choose a bridal party. They both got ready in luxurious suites with amazing views of the lush golf course and the surrounding Vidanta property and ocean.
At Zach&Tana’s first look they decided to share some private vows with one another. This was such a fun way for them to ease the nerves of doing vows in front of their friends and family later, but also was such a special and sweet moment just between them two. Afterwards, we headed to several of our pre-planned photo and video locations throughout the property. For our destination weddings, we really try and utilize the gorgeous views and scenery especially at a place like Puerto Vallarta. As most people know, wedding timelines don’t always go as planned, but I’m so proud of us and Zach and Tana for being such troopers as they braved the extremely hot and humid temperatures while having their pictures taken. Not once did they complain and we appreciate that!
After portraits, we headed down to the beach where their wedding ceremony and reception were going to take place. Zach and Tana’s 2nd round of vows were incredible and between the sniffles and wiping their eyes, they promised to love one another and be faithful forever. Even if you don’t know these two, you’ll feel their contagious joy and fun loving mindset just from watching them interact (and dance)! The dancing at this wedding was incredible. It stayed hot and humid into the night so they ended the reception with a group mob into the refreshing ocean.
Zach&Tana are some of the most genuine and thoughtful people we have ever worked with! They treated us like family and were such good sports with taking lots of photos in the hot weather. They even came to our room to hug us goodbye the morning after the wedding before our flight home, they are truly so sweet! They are gracious people who are so loving and loyal to not only their friends but to us as well.
Zach&Tana, we’ll never forget the way your friends talked about you two with the utmost honor or that fact that you all have some pretty killer dance moves! We hope you cherish these photos for a lifetime to come!
