The Rainmaker Challenge Reviews - Real Experiences from Real People Who Have Taken The Rainmaker Challenge

I’ll never forget a monumental conversation Stephen and I had on our way to shoot a destination Charleston Wedding….

You know those moments that don’t feel that significant, but you look back on them as the moment everything changed for the better?

It was one of those moments…

Little did I know it would lead to something that has now changed over 10,000 lives, The Rainmaker Challenge.

Gender Neutral Baby Nursery - Chico CA

When looking for ways to decorate Kaizen’s nursery I loved looking at bloggers and friend’s nursery inspirations. I enjoyed looking at what others suggested to get ideas for our own ascetic. For that reason, I plan on sharing more about our top must have baby items down the road. Fo now, I linked most of our nursery items at the end of this post and hope you get some inspiration.

Boho Themed Baby Shower for Baby Diaz - Chico California

Better late than never right? That’s how I feel about almost all of baby Diaz’s blog posts. I had been meaning to finish this along with his nursery before he came. Here we are 1 month since Kai has been out of my belly and I’m finally sharing, oh well! We’ve been a little pre-occupied with baby snuggles and getting used to life as a family of three. It’s been absolutely wonderful and I wouldn’t trade it for the world.

Baby Diaz Maternity Photos Livermore CA

It’s wild to me that I’m blogging OUR maternity photos today. The last six years of marriage has been filled with so much growth. We are truly different people, in a good way, than when we first got married. We’re more unified, free, better versions of ourselves because of marriage. We were very intentional about when we wanted to start a family and as I look at these photos, I’m filled with gratitude for everything we’ve been through to get us to a place of being joyfully excited to meet our sweet boy.

Alaska Norwegian Joy Cruise 2019

A few weeks ago we set sail out of Seattle Washington for a week long cruise up through Alaska with a day in Victoria British Columbia on the way home. It was our first time cruising and the perfect get away for us. Chico tends to be extremely hot during summer months so escaping from the heat felt heavenly.

We booked this trip as soon as we found out we were pregnant with our #trebaby. We’ll be sharing more soon about that in case you missed it! It was the perfect mix of exploring and resting on the boat while traveling from port to port. What we loved so much about this trip was the flexibility and freedom we had. While on the boat, we could choose as much or as little as we wanted to do. I can see us in the near future taking our family on a big cruise together. Everyone can choose their own adventure and do as much or rest as much as you please.

Mendocino Lifestyle Photographer - A trip to the Coast

Mendocino has become a very special place to us over the last few years. In the beginning of July, we had a wedding at the MacCallum house right in the heart of Mendocino. Later this year we’ll also get to return for another gorgeous California coast wedding at the Herritage House Resort. We’re so thankful for work that transports us to beautiful locations all around California and beyond.

Six Year Anniversary Photos - Dallas Texas

While we were in Dallas a few weeks ago for a conference, we scheduled an anniversary session with the talented Jennefer Wilson. I met Jenn at a photographer’s conference in Georgia several years ago and we hit it off. Since then, I’ve always loved and continued to follow her beautiful fine art work!

Tucson Arizona Travel Photos

A few weeks ago, March 16th to be exact, was our six year wedding anniversary. In years past, we’ve gone on a trip together to celebrate and this year was no different. Our good friends the Goodwillie’s moved last summer from Chico back to their hometown in Tucson Arizona. Even though we’ve only know each other for three years, we know these two are lifelong friends and they have already been such a blessing to us. Having supportive community has always been a high value of ours in business and marriage. We decided to make our anniversary more than just celebrating our marriage, but celebrating those who have supported us a long the way.

Funnel Hacking Live 2019 Nashville Takeaways

A little over two weeks ago Stephen and I attended one of the top internet marketing conferences, Funnel Hacking Live. Stephen had attended the year prior in Florida and raved about the conference. As much as we love getting to know other photographers and videographers at industry specific conferences, we’ve made a big point to get outside of our main industry to learn from others too.
