Venticello Wedding in Murphy’s California - Brian&Lexi

Brian and Lexi wrote their own vows which were highlighted throughout their wedding film. We love how their personalities shone through and they were candid and heartfelt with their words. Lexi talked about how true love isn’t about rational reason it’s about trust. How they’ve learned to trust one another and become confident in their relationship. Brian knew early on that Lexi was the one. He loved spending time with her and things just “clicked”.

We loved seeing a theme coming out in the speeches, how these two are perfect for each other. They are a great compliment and together they produce balance and fun.

Their story started when Lexi moved back home to the Bay Area after finishing college and Brian was starting a new job in the city. It was through mutual friends at a bar where we took some of their engagement photos that the seeds of this love story started to grow. After six years of dating, several job changes, and Lexi completing law school, these two tied the knot.

Brian and Lexi’s wedding celebrations took place in a small town called Murphys California, located in the foothills of the Sierra Nevadas. This quaint town has the perfect mix of exploring the beautiful scenery or visiting the historic downtown in between wine tasting. Lexi grew up visiting the area when she was younger. When Brian and Lexi were searching for their perfect wedding venue, it seemed fitting to get married in such a beautiful location. Brian’s last name is also Murphy which made this location even more meaningful and fun!

The property at Venticello is breathtaking and reminded us of a Tuscan Villa in Italy. Guests enjoyed a his and hers cocktail and delicious plated dinner with a view. Brian and Lexi are fun loving people and know how to dance. After candlelight toasts were given, they danced the night away under the stars.
