White Ranch Events Chico Wedding Photos - Aaron&Clara

We are so excited to share with you Aaron and Clara’s White Ranch Events wedding. We have been looking forward to celebrating with these two even before their San Francisco engagement session. What a special day and a huge honor for us to be a part of.

Both Aaron and Clara got ready at the iconic Hotel Diamond in downtown Chico. They each rented suites for their bridal party to spread out and get ready together. The window views and lighting will always make Hotel Diamond a favorite place in Chico for our couples to get ready. The minute we walked through the doors to greet Clara, we were all almost in tears. Clara allowed herself to feel all the feels and let the emotions flow for her gratitude and joy that her day had finally come.

Clara and Aaron shared a first look on a private catwalk at the Diamond before heading with us to White Ranch for more wedding photos. The sun was tucked behind the clouds for almost all of their wedding photos which diffused what could have normally been harsh lighting. This is always a treat as a photographer to have slightly overcast skies for portrait time. For their stunning bridal party, they chose close friends and family from all different stages of life. All special people that have been a part of their story. From long time childhood friends, to high school buddies, and junior bridesmaids who are all so important to them!

The minute Clara walked down the aisle with her mom and dad, the tears started to flow again. Clara and Arron wrote each other vows, and shared about how their relationship grew from just getting to know each other to falling in love. There was a sacred depth and joyful presence that was evident at their ceremony.

At the reception, we were all in for a surprise. Out of seemingly nowhere, the skies opened up and it started pouring rain down, right in the middle of the toasts. There’s a saying that says if it rains on your wedding day, it symbolizes good luck and that your marriage will last. We didn't need the rain to build our confidence on how wonderful Aaron and Clara’s marriage will be, but it sure was fun to have that added element of surprise and have a dance party to dry off.

Aaron and Clara’s relationship is build on legacy and trust. A beautiful legacy of love their parents have molded and passed down to them. They are true best friends at the core and together they are powerful.

We’re so thrilled for these friends. For the most perfect and magical day, for the joy these two share with one another and the world, and for the kindness they have shown to us.
