Baker Beach San Francisco CA Engagement Photography - Ollie&Jenni
Traveling to San Francisco for an engagement photography session is one of our favorite things. We look forward to the drive together, catching up on all our favorite podcasts and audiobooks. We look forward to the time spent with our couples and the new and old sites we get to see. San Francisco has such great energy and city life that we love to explore.
For Ollie and Jenni's engagement session, we started at Palace of Fine Arts. It had been a while since we photographed a session there and it was good to be back. Usually, our engagement sessions on held on weekdays which allow us to enjoy the perks of having most touristy areas in the city completely to ourselves. From The Palace of Fine Arts, we headed to one of the San Francisco iconic beaches, Baker Beach. From the beach, you get a great view from one side of the Golden Gate Bridge and very far off you can even see the shoreline from Sausalito.
Ollie proposed to Jenni in Marin Headlands on Hawk Hill which you can also get an amazing view of from Baker Beach. The first photo Ollie and Jenni took together after getting engaged had the Golden Gate Bridge in the background so they knew they wanted to incorporate this iconic bridge in their photos. It was a windy and cold day with a beautiful fog rolling in for their engagement session. These two braved the cold weather with smiles as we literally ran around Baker Beach to stay warm at the end of their session.
Ollie and Jenni grew up outside of the United States and most of their family still lives far away. They are getting married next summer and planning a destination wedding in Mendocino. People from all over the world will be flying in to celebrate these two and we can't wait to meet them all!
Enjoy some of our favorites from their San Francisco engagement session.
