Our favorite time of the evening for these photo sessions is catching our beautiful California sun flare close to sunset. Upper Park during this time of year is peaceful.

The park stretches through the heart of Chico and is pretty much any photographer's dream because it has endless photo locations. It's especially beautiful for engagement photography sessions! With all the weather and season changes the colors in the park are stunning. With Bidwell practically in our backyard, we take advance of this gorgeous location whenever possible!

Since that restaurant is extremely special to them, it will be the same catering place that will be serving their wedding guests next year. Stephen and I also love breakfast and has become our favorite meal to go on a date to. We love that Jason&Rachel share this in common with us and think it's so great that they are including this special date into their wedding theme for guests to enjoy. Now every time we go to breakfast, we'll be thinking about Jason&Rachel and the first date they had together.

She went to Chico High just like me (go Panthers) and was an incredible athlete in high school as well. It was at Chico State that she met Adam. Adam was a decathlete on the track team and it was there that they began dating. After graduating from Chico State, they both moved to the Bay Area for their careers and to continue their love story together!
