Wedding Photography Sacramento - Downtown Ice Rink Proposal - Ben&Alena

A few weeks ago we had the honor of photographing a proposal in downtown Sacramento. We had been contacted by Ben and soon heard about his amazing plan to surprise his girlfriend. Alena loves the holidays. She loves this season for many reasons including spending extended time with family and going ice skating on the very rink Ben was planning on proposing. We had the date and time set and so excited to be in on this amazing surprise.

Ben and Alena had planned to meet friends before heading to dinner. After the ice was cleaned, an announcement was made on the loud speaker for the adorable couple to enter together. They were asked to enjoy a few laps together. At that point, people watching started whispering and saying “ Is he going to propose”. Alena still had no idea what was happening until Ben got down on one knee. He asked her to be his wife and presented her with the most beautiful ring. She said yes!
