Plantation Gardens Kauai Hawaii Wedding - Destination Wedding Photographer - Jeff&Samantha

We've been looking forward to Jeff&Samantha's Plantation Gardens Kauai Hawaii wedding for a while now!  

We had been looking forward to this wedding ever since Jeff&Samantha booked us after their Sacramento engagement session last year! These two are so adventurous and complete world travelers, it made total sense to have their destination wedding somewhere exotic like Kauai, Hawaii. Blogging these photos makes us want to go back, hopefully soon!

We spent a few days before the wedding scouting locations and getting to know Jeff&Samantha's friends and family and we loved every minute of it! These two wanted to do a first look which allowed us to drive around the island to get a variety of locations and looks. You can't go to Hawaii and only take portraits in one location, there were just SO many good photo spots to choose from!

The ceremony and reception took place at Plantation Gardens tucked back behind the nearby beach. When it came time for sunset, the four of us jumped in the car and drove down the road to catch the last rays of glorious golden light before they headed back into the reception for dancing (and fire dancing)!

Thank you Jeff&Samantha for inviting us to capture your destination wedding! We can't even begin to express enough how honored we are to call you two friends and to travel with you on this Hawaiian adventure!
