Sacramento Capitol Park Engagement Photos - Bobby&Kristin

Bobby and Kristin have been such a joy to get to know over the last few months and their story is something that will melt your heart! Kristin and Bobby met at Front Street Animal Shelter in Sacramento. Kristin had just adopted Sookie and became a huge rescue advocate. Through this, she began volunteering more at the shelter. Bobby works at the Shelter and the two quickly began to get to know each other more. Sookie loved Bobby and this began to win over Kristin’s heart.

These two will be getting married later this year on the Northern California coast in Mendocino. We cannot wait to spend the day with them and see the amazing wedding experience they have been dreaming up for their family and friends who will be traveling in. Our friend Christine from CMG Events will also be working this wedding with us and we love any chance we get to collaborate with her.

Bobby and Kristin are both from the Northern California are near Sacramento. For engagement photos, we met at several iconic Sacramento locations and made sure to include Sookie in all the adventures since she played such a big role in bringing these two together. The rose garden at Capitol Park was our first location. The roses this time of year are in full bloom and so pretty. Next, we headed to Tower Bridge and weaved in-between walkers and bikers for a couple golden hour shots along the bridge. From there, we headed to several of Sacramento’s hidden murals for the last location that we found through Wide Open Walls on Instagram (an awesome resource for Sacramento photo spots that Kristin and Bobby told us about).

Bobby&Kristin are incredible people. Every time we see a Instagram DM or email come in from them it puts smiles on our faces. They are always so encouraging and full of life. We loved spending the evening with these two capturing this engagement season. Their wedding day will for sure to be one to remember!
