TréCreative Tips&Tricks - Creating Family Heirlooms
Last week on TréCreative Tips&Tricks we talked about the importance of backing up your photos to ensure your photos will last a lifetime. We promised this week to talk about another alternative to your digital photos and how to create your first family heirloom :D
When I was younger, I remember waking up and going straight into our families living room to turn the pages in my parent's wedding album. I did this for a few days straight and would often find myself returning to these worn pages over the years. I was totally drawn to my mothers wedding gown, the love that was shown throughout the photos and my older relatives who looked much younger then! It was as if I could glimpse into my parent's history in the form of a book that I could flip through whenever I wanted. At TréCreative we are big believers in creating memories that last a lifetime.
One of the ways we encourage our couples to leave these memories for generations to come is to invest in their first "family heirloom" together, a wedding album! Stephen and I really love wedding albums and it's so exciting to know that they will stand the test of time, being passed to our couple's children, and to their children's children, and so on. These lovely leather and linen albums are such a perfect way to show off your wedding photos to family and friends who visit. When deciding on which professional photographer album service to use, we took our time testing the different brands out there. The album company we chose was the one that impressed us most, the one that we ourselves would want to have on our coffee table (and we do) and the one that we know our couple's will cherish for years to come.
TréCreative albums all feature a timeless and clean design, utilizing the photos to craft a story that can be shared with friends and family. The leather option is a thicker book, with very thick, lay-flat flush mount pages, while the linen alternative is a thinner book with thinner pages. Both are popular options and they come in a variety of sizes and colors to fit exactly what you envision!
