All About the Details - TréCreative Tips&Tricks

Capturing the details that surround a wedding day are some of our favorite aspects to photograph! Each bride has put so much thought, time and money into those details and we want to be make sure to preserve memories of them for a lifetime. When we show up on a wedding day, during the getting ready process. I'll spend up to an hour capturing these details while Stephen is photographing the people and activities going on elsewhere. One detail that often times gets forgotten about during these detail shots are the lovely invitations.

Costa Mesa Engagement Photographer - Johnny&Jessica

Johnny was a good friend, a fellow bike rider, and even a housemate to Stephen during his time in down in Southern California for college. He also worked with both of us at our beloved summer camp, Mount Hermon. Jess also had camp counselor experience at a similar (but less awesome) camp. We're just kidding on that one! Jessica worked at another amazing summer camp and as you can see, we may have a little rivalry going on between the two.

Honey Run Covered Bridge Engagement Photography - Ryan&Emily

All of Ryan&Emily's friends would agree, they are a absolutely perfect pair! They both share a love for all things outdoors, adventures, community, and have such a contagious smiles and laughs. We started their engagement session in Bidwell Park and then hopped in our car to drive up from Chico to the Honey Run Covered Bridge where we would finish their engagement session. We are so thankful each time we get to spend a little extra time with each of our couples. An engagement session really allows us these moments to hang out and look for ways to capture true moments in each unique love story.

Wedding Photographer in Chico - Adam&Nicole

We can't even begin to scrape the surface when we talk about the many wonderful aspects of this lovely Elk Creek Ranch wedding. A beautiful celebration of two in love. Two wonderful people demonstrating not only the commitment of husband and wife but also a great picture of what deep friendship truly looks like. SO many friends and family came together to make this wedding possible, including a dream team of vendors. Take Nicole the bride—the owner of Studio 22—her best friend Carey from The Idea Emporium, add in the super talented Jodi from Chico Event Specialist and you have a recipe for a stunning, jaw dropping, gorgeous, and wonderfully orchestrated (thanks Jodi) event! Literally, every part of the details you see in these photos are hand crafted with care by this amazing team of people! What an honor is what to capture such beauty in the decor, but also the love Adam&Nicole share for one another.

Chico State Portrait Photographer - Alyssa Senior Session

It was predicted to rain, and off in the distance we would hear thunder and see lightning rolling in. Nevertheless, we began taking Alyssa's Chico State graduation photos. What seemed like a horrible day for photography turned out to be the perfect day. Maybe it was the amazing overcast cloud coverage, or maybe it was that Alyssa was so natural and beautiful to photograph (we are betting on the second option). Either way, Alyssa was such a trooper and her joy totally radiated throughout the whole portrait session.

Destination Wedding Photographer - Aaron&Bri

Every time a couple hires us to be their wedding photographers and videographers we are so honored! A wedding is such a huge, important, once-in-a-lifetime moment and we LOVE being able to use our gifts to capture these special events. In Aaron&Bri's case not only did they trust us with their precious day, but they invited us to be a part of capturing their destination wedding in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Upon arriving, we realized more and more the amazing opportunity we are given each time we capture a wedding day. We are humbly grateful for the way Aaron&Bri treated us and invited us in just as though we were family! The day started with Bri getting ready at the beautiful Villa De Arco Desert Spa. Her bridesmaids were so fun and helpful all throughout the day. These girls really knew how to love Bri well! Aaron&Bri opted to do a first look which allowed us ample time for photos around the resort. We later met up with their handsome and beautiful bridal parties. Their ceremony was right on the beach overlooking the wondrous Lover's Beach and iconic rock formations in the distance.

Crystal Cove Engagement Photographer - David&Emily

On our trip down to Southern California we were able to meet up with David&Emily for their wonderful Crystal Cove engagement photography session! David is a basketball player, and just like Stephen and I, there's a little height difference between these two. We love this about them, maybe we're biased...but seriously, they are adorable together.
