Oak Park Sacramento Engagement Session - James&Olivia
We met James and Liv in downtown Sacramento for their engagement photo session. We traveled to several iconic places in the city and ended in their own neighborhood in Oak Park. We started their session on a bike path near Old Town Sacramento and the Tower Bridge. This tandem bike they rode together has so much character! We probably made them ride up and down the path what seemed like a million times to make sure we had gotten the perfect shots of this bike in action.
As cheesy as this sounds, a vintage tandem bike can really strengthen your level of communication and ability to work together. To add an even more of a challenge, try starting to pedal uphill together, it’s not an easy task! James and Liv excelled at this with flying colors! They already are such a great team and bring out the best in each other. James and Liv probably got a bit of a workout in addition to their photo session, but we so glad they were willing to ride it all over.
After retiring the tandem bike for the evening, we headed to Capitol Park for more photos and an outfit change. From there we headed to their neighborhood Oak Park where we finished their session with their cute pup Holly. They invited us to drinks and dinner afterwards with another lovely couple just down the street and it was a blast!
Thank you James and Olivia for such a wonderful evening, we can’t wait for your Scribner Bend Winery wedding next year!
