Destination Wedding Videographer Panama - Jovanni&Laura's Panamá Viejo Wedding

Now we don't like to play favorites around here, so we don't say this often...but this is one of our favorite wedding videos ever! It is one of our favorites for three reasons. 1. Laura is my (Stephen) sister!!! Being able to capture memories like this for family is truly special. Working with family is a breeze too because everyone is already comfortable with each other and there's no added pressure or stress. We both have siblings but Laura was the first to get married and it was an honor to be able to capture her and Jovanni's story on film. On top of that, my dad was the one officiating the wedding. He did an awesome job and was able to tell the couple's story so well.

2. This wedding was in one of the most beautiful places in the world to shoot, Panama! The wedding was held at the historic Panamá Viejo. Everywhere you look at this venue, there are old ruins from the old Panama city. It is so fun to explore, and definitely a great backdrop for photos and videos. While we were in Panama, we visited the San Blas islands, which you'll see glimpses of in this film as well. They are these secluded little islands in the middle of the ocean. If you're ever in Panama, these islands are a must visit place!

3. We brought along some photo and video friends of ours Brittney&Caleb for this wedding to help us capture the day. They are a husband and wife photo video duo just like us based out of Minnesota. We shot their wedding back in 2015 and have stayed in touch ever since. Because this was a family wedding, we wanted to make sure we had amazing second shooters to help capture parts of the day where we needed to be in photos (like family photos). They did awesome and we are so thankful we invited them along for the adventure!

Jovanni&Laura's wedding day was so fun to capture! From the anticipation of getting ready, the moments where we thought it might just rain (but it didn't), and that first look...wait 'till you see that first look! It was all just perfect. The friends and family that surrounded these two love them so dearly and it truly shows.
