Brooks California Wedding Photographer - Jeff&Brenna

Jeff&Brenna were married at Brenna’s grandparent's ranch in Brooks California on a beautiful Spring day.

The tiny town of Brooks is surrounded by rolling lush green hills and pastures. Towards the end of town, you’ll arrive at this beloved Ranch. The property will surely take your breath away as it did ours. Jeff&Brenna were married on top of a hill overlooking the scenery below with about 60 of their closest friends and family. The view was spectacular and you could see for miles nothing but green pastures and rolling hills with hundred-year-old trees on top of them. It had always been a dream of Brenna’s to get married on her grandparent's property on top of the hill behind their ranch style home. After having an intimate ceremony, we finished photographing their family formals and from there, the couple made their way to cocktail hour where more guests arrived to celebrate with them at their reception.

Jeff&Brenna have three adorable dogs. They roamed freely on the property all day and even escorted Jeff to the first look. Each dog had a special role in the wedding ceremony as ring bearers which was so cute!

For sunset photos, the four of us jumped in Jeff’s big truck and drove into the property to find the perfect pasture where the sun had just set. There are no words to describe how peaceful that portrait time was. You could barely hear anything out there but crickets chirping the small creek nearby. One of the many reasons why we love sunset photos so much is that allows our couples to escape the busyness of a wedding day and just be together. Spending time with your guests is important but it’s so nice to escape for just a few minutes and completely soak in your day. Weddings go by quickly and we encourage all our couples to take advantage of this time to savor the moment. Jeff&Brenna did just that and we’re so thankful for our little adventure with them around the property.
