Sacramento Wedding Filmmaker – David&Lyndsey's Cathedral Wedding & Backyard Reception

One of the aspects we love most about our jobs is being able to journey with our couples throughout their lives. Our adventure alongside David&Lyndsey started back in 2014, when her and her two sisters contacted us for a family session to surprise their dad with more recent portraits of the three of them. It was at this photo session when we first met David. He was along for the fun that day, so we made sure to grab a couple photos of him and Lyndsey as well. Little did we know they would soon be engaged and we'd get the privilege of being a part of the wedding! We loved getting to see these two any chance we were able during their engagement season. We had gorgeous weather for our springtime Table Mountain session with them in 2015 and the wedding which came the year after. David&Lyndsey were married in downtown Sacramento at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament. This church is so breathtakingly stunning and we love how the voices just echo and reverberate through the space. Their wedding film below begins with actual audio from the ceremony's closing song of prayer. It was a quiet and peaceful moment of blessing over their marriage and future and was exactly what they had envisioned for this perfect day. After the ceremony, they took a quick drive over to Lyndsey's family property in East Nicolaus. With the perfect canopy of trees providing shade for the guests, all the pretty details were styled and ready. We loved seeing Lyndsey's vision for the reception come to life! She and many others put lots of hard work into making details and setting up and it was so worth it! All and all, we loved spending the day with these two, capturing their sweet love for one another and preserving it for years to come. We hope that David&Lyndsey can revisit their film and photos for years to come and be reminded of the day that started it all.
