Muir Woods San Francisco Engagement Photographer - Sean&Jaclyn

Big tall trees and a woodsy feel. That is what our bride dreamed of when thinking of photo locations for her engagement shots.

Sean&Jaclyn are from the Bay Area and are getting married in Sacramento next year. Once a year or so, Jaclyn's family goes camping in the woods together a few hours from where they live. That area was the look these two envisioned when thinking about their engagement session. After brainstorming a few ideas we decided to meet these two just outside of San Francisco up in the hill in an iconic spot, Muir Woods.

A few things you should know about Sean&Jaclyn. Like most of our couples, they were nervous and excited for photos all at the same time. What you can see from the photos below is how much they know are total naturals and rocked their engagement session! What you don't see pictured is ALL the people! We photographed their engagement session on a Sunday afternoon, and with this spot being a popular tourist attraction there were people everywhere! In between about every five clicks on our cameras, we would stop and let the different tourists go by us along the path in Muir Woods.

We always arrive early to any new location we're shooting at to make sure we know where the best lighting will be. In Sean&Jaclyn's case, we quickly realized how crowded their location was, so we reached out to give them the heads up where to park to avoid the crowds. They had no problem being patient in between each location and being gracious to each tourist walking by, even if they had no idea we were taking photos. We appreciate Sean&Jaclyn so much for this! They trusted and quickly eased into our posing, and totally knocked it out of the park! Thanks friends!
