For their wedding day, Danny&Heather choose Centerville Estates, a wedding venue tucked up past the covered bridge that Butte Creek runs parallel to.

The venue itself is absolutely breathtaking and is filled with lush greenery and a cobblestone-lined path that winds guests down to the beautiful ceremony location. Overlooking the creek, a canopy of trees hang all around the ceremony and a favorite part is the towering canyon walls tharunns alongside!

Danny&Heather's love story has been in the making for over 20 years. Their relationship started as a friendship but as they grew older it turned into something much more! They first met at little kids on a camping trip and over the years of getting to know each other and their families their friendship blossomed.

We're lucky because we've been able to spend more time taking photos of Danny&Heather than most of our couples! More photo time always means more time spent getting to know each other which is one of the parts of photography we love most. Danny&Heather took Valentine's Day anniversary photos with us about a year before they were ever engaged. From there, after they were engaged we scheduled their engagement session and of course more portraits on the wedding day. We love that these two value photography and documenting the different seasons of life that they're in! It was fun visiting their house and seeing our photos all over the walls!

Heather has impeccable taste and when we arrived at their home for getting ready portraits, you could tell she has put so much care and thought into decorating their home. The same attention to detail and care went into her wedding details! Heather wore beautiful Badgley Mischka shoes and had her invitation suite, some extra ribbon and her lovely Mrs.Box all ready to be photographed when we arrived. We love when we have pretty details to style with.

After the girls finished getting ready we headed to Centerville Estates for the remainder of the wedding day. After sharing their vows and promising to love and serve each other first, guests were invited to the reception portion of the property. The evening was filled with lots of laughs and beautiful toasts given by family and lifelong friends. Those people spoke highly of the way Danny&Heather loved each other and how many looked up to their relationship over the years. The evening continued with Heather's dad and a good friend planning a surprise for their father-daughter dance. Her dad and this family friend had written a song just for Heather. He played the song for her and her dad to dance to, the look on Heather's face was priceless. We loved watching these first dance moments!

The evening concluded with a smile-filled sparkler send off. There are not too many venues in Chico who allow sparklers due to the fire hazard, so it's always fun being at Centerville where they allow it! Thank you Danny&Heather, from the bottom of our hearts for allowing us to be a part of your amazing wedding day. Portraits down by the creek are a must at Centerville Estates, it's so gorgeous down there! We snuck these two away from the reception for a few minutes to grab some shots down here while the sun was low and the lighting was perfect.
