Northern California Wedding Photographer - Jeff&Tosha

Jeff&Tosha were married on Tosha's dad's Ranch in Northern California on a beautiful Fall day. Among the perfect overcast skies for photos, a beautiful sunset, Tosha's favorite donuts to share with guests, and a very sweet number of toasts given, this was such a special wedding day!

Tosha started her day getting ready in her Dad's ranch style home with her two sister's and longtime friends. Jeff also got ready on the same property which made it super convenient for Stephen and I to check in on our couple throughout the getting ready portion of the morning. After slipping into her dress, we took a few quick bridal photos of Tosha on the amazing staircase just before heading out to Jeff for their first look. Tosha wrote Jeff a super sweet note and had Stephen hand it to him right before seeing each other. We took portraits in a pasture right next to the house before heading inside for a private first look between Tosha and her dad.

As much as any wedding photographer loves gorgeous elegant details to photograph throughout the day, we also have a deep love for capturing raw and real emotions that tell the story of the day. We'll never forget a very sweet moment Tosha really wanted to make sure happened on her wedding day. I have such a soft spot in my heart for father-daughter dances and Tosha has an extremely close relationship with her dad. When meeting up with both her and Jeff before their wedding day, she mentioned really wanting to make sure a father-daughter first look happened. Tosha walked down the stairs and once she reached the bottom her dad turned around and saw his beautiful daughter for the first time in her wedding dress. After the waterworks had started, Tosha brought out a very sweet note that expressed her adoration and respect she had for the way her dad raised their family. She gifted him a specially engraved pocket watch and after embraced him with the biggest hug. It's moments like these that we feel so honored to capture. As wedding photographers and videographers, we're invited into some of the most intimate and sacred spaces on a wedding day and we don't take that lightly. We loved the way both Jeff and Tosha honored their parents throughout the day.

After portraits were taken, guests started to arrive for the ceremony that took place in front of the big red barn on the property. They made promises to stay true and faithful for as long as they shall live and kissed for the first time as husband and wife. The gorgeous reception took place inside the barn with lots of dancing and snacking on the delicious donut bar our amazing couple had arranged!
