Brittany had just moved to Chico from growing up in Southern California and Tré from a tiny town Yreka just north of Chico. Although they met as freshman college students, it wasn't until the senior year that Tré moved into the apartment below Brittany and they became friends. They soon started spending a lot of time together and really enjoying each other's company. After a year of just being friends, they spent a few weeks apart from each other.
