Clay and Meagan are incredible people! We first met Meagan several years ago through our TréCreative bride community. She was a steller bridesmaid and super supportive of all her best friends getting married. Clay and Meagan met online. After hitting it off at their first date, they began long-distance dating until Clay decided to move closer to be near Meagan. Six years later and lots of adventures in between these two tied the knot on Meagan’s grandparent’s property, just outside of Sacramento where Meagan grew up.

We first met Lexi in 2017 at her best friend Eryn’s wedding. We were the videographers for Eryn and Greg’s amazing Santa Cruz wedding at Rancho Soquel. Lexi was Eryn’s maid of honor. She gave the most heartfelt speech about her best friend, their time together at Chico State, and lots of fun memories in between!

Sequoia Mansion Placerville Wedding Photos - Tré&Brittany

It's really true that absence makes the heart grow fonder!

Tré&Brittany are amazing and kind people. They met while attending school in our hometown at Chico State. Fate had them placed in the same dorm. Brittany had just moved to Chico from growing up in Southern California and Tré from a tiny town Yreka just north of Chico. Although they met as freshman college students, it wasn't until the senior year that Tré moved into the apartment below Brittany and they became friends. They soon started spending a lot of time together and really enjoying each other's company. After a year of just being friends, they spent a few weeks apart from each other. After Brittany's parents dropped her off in Chico again, she went straight to see Tré. It was then that Brittany realized how much she truly cared for Tré.

Over their engagement process, we always try to get to know our couples on a personal level. One of the ways we do that is at an engagement session. As we were taking those photos, we were talking about the importance of setting time aside and making date night a priority. Jason and Rachel expressed how they would do this almost every night and make sure they were on the same page as each other. They would go on walks and talk about their day! Those are such important patterns to get into before your married and it was inspiring for us to watch.

Panther Beach Santa Cruz Engagement Photos - Danny&Gina

Danny&Gina met us at one of our favorite beaches off Highway 1 just outside of Santa Cruz for their engagement photos. In college, Stephen and I worked at a summer camp in the Santa Cruz mountains and on our days off, we would often venture to Panther Beach, the same place we took these photos for Danny&Gina. Being back in this area of Northern California brought back a lot of memories and we were excited to create a new memory with these two.

Danny’s family owns the orchard we photographed them in so he showed us around the family business nearby.
