Scott and Britten were married on a beautiful Spring day at David Girard Vineyards close to Placerville, California.

Scott&Britten met when having drinks with a few friends. From that one interaction they would exchange numbers and without even realizing it, their adventure as a couple would soon begin. Scott went to Chico State and so when we did their engagement session last summer, Britten got a little tour of his old stomping grounds here in Chico where our home base is.

The weather was a little up in the air on their actual wedding day. The forecast was bipolar and couldn't decide between heavy rains or just partly cloudy. Scott&Britten opted to move their ceremony to a covered area shielding guest from the wind and weather. The view was spectacular from this vantage point so I don't think anyone minded the change! Scott&Britten handled the unusual windy and almost rainy weather like champs! They had an open mind about everything and were just too happy to spend the evening with their closest friends and family!

David Girard is a gorgeous venue that these two fell in love with when searching for the perfect place to get married in Placerville area. The actual reception sits on top of a hill overlooking the rolling vineyards and beautiful water nearby. After Scott&Britten shared their first look in a grove of trees, we headed toward the little lake to finish their portraits. Scott&Britten have two adorable flower girls that just about stole the show the whole day, if you look through the photos you'll see what we mean, they were too cute! Their dresses almost matched Britten's amazing wedding gown.
