What a fun wedding day! It was perfectly overcast and just the right temperature outside for Alex&Olivia's Pageo Lavender Farm wedding film. We loved all the details and whimsical touches Olivia added to the day through her wedding decor. She put a ton of work into making her wedding vision come to life and it truly paid off! We loved this excerpt from Alex&Olivia's wedding website of how their story came to be, told by Olivia!

"It was September 20th, 2008 or my 20th birthday to be more specific. I had just joined Kappa Delta and was eager to meet new people and enjoy the rest of my college experience. I was on my way to my first Stanford vs. SJSU game with some of the girls from Kappa Delta and one of them introduced me to her friend Alex from Sigma Nu, our neighboring fraternity. I went about my day not knowing what would come from that first meeting.
For the next month we crossed paths often but remained just friends. It was finally in October that moves were finally made. By me obviously! After he dressed up as Harry Potter for halloween that year, I knew this was the guy for me. I asked him to my sorority formal dance, and he said "Yes". The Olivia and Alex saga continued for the next 3 years. We had our ups, and downs. We laughed, and we fought. I made him watch Pretty Woman, and every Disney movie ever made while eating food we could make in a microwave, because duh we were poor college students. I was subjected to watching Across the Universe probably a million times, and every Star Wars movie ever made, so it was a fair trade.
After I graduated in Fall 2011, he still had another year left in school. We had to decide if this was something that would only last through college or if this was the real thing. As you can tell, we decided on forever. So here we are about 8 years later from when we met, and making food on a stove not in a microwave. We have built our lives together, have worked on getting this whole "adulting" thing down, and have even added a cat named Chloe to the mix."

Pageo Lavendar farms is such a lovely ceremony & reception site for weddings and when these two found it they knew it'd be the perfect place for family and friends to celebrate with them! We loved how these two valued legacy and had both of their parents who are happily married involved in the day. They both share a love for one another and family that truly shown through in their vows and the speeches during the reception. Watch their wedding highlight film below:
