pain took my breath away. With every turn, nook and cranny, I found beauty in the history, the people, the food and especially the architecture everywhere we went. Today I'm continuing my three part blog series from my Europe photography adventures in the Spring of 2018

Read MoreIn just a few months, March to be exact, we’ll be celebrating our 5 year wedding anniversary! We made a commitment when we got married that each year at least once, we would get in front of the camera. Whenever we have our yearly travel planned out, if everything aligns, we take advantage of having these photos taken all over the United States. Last year, we took them in Charleston, and this year while we were in New Orleans for The Rising Tide Leaders Retreat, we had them taken by our friend and talented photographer, Lauren Swann!
Read MoreOver the last week, we’ve spent our days with an amazing group of leaders and innovators from around the U.S. for the Rising Tide Leaders Retreat in New Orleans. The Rising Tide Society is an amazing group of creative entrepreneurs who exists to inspire, give free education and spread a movement of “community over competition”. In a world where everyone is so afraid of sharing their secrets, where people often live in a scarcity mindset, we believe there will always be enough work to go around and we shouldn’t live in a place of fear.

From there we went to a marriage retreat in Chico, then that night we packed up for our destination wedding in Puerto Vallarta Mexico. After returning home for a few days, I jumped onto another airplane off to the East Coast for the annual Pursuit Retreat in North Carolina. While sometimes back to back travel can be exhausting, we are so thankful for this job that allows us to travel not only for work but amazing retreats and getaways like I was able to do last week.
Read MoreMiles and Bailey are from California and will be getting married in Sacramento this December. They recently moved to Chicago from Arizona for Bailey’s clinical rotation. That’s a huge climate change but it was such a treat for us to escape Chico’s hot summer days for a weekend in Chicago. This is the second time we’ve traveled to Chicago for a destination engagement session and we absolutely love this city! The views are breathtaking and the city is so walkable. Not to mention the world famous deep dish pizza we indulged in after their photo session. It’s a must visit for us again!
