Ryan and Jessica were married on a beautiful afternoon in Sonoma wine country at Calegari Vineyards in Healdsburg. The property is perched up on the top of a hill. When you look out you see nothing but rolling rows of vineyards and the beautiful mountaintops. Ryan and Jessica has impeccable taste and their wedding reflected that in their decor choices.
Read MoreThe last time we saw Jeremy and Maggie was at their maternity session a few months back. After delivering their maternity photos, I wrote that the next time we would be seeing these two they would be holding their sweet boy in their arms. What a joy to be a part of the anticipation and life that these two created. Baby Leo is one of the cutest babies ever! After scrolling through the photos, you’ll fall in love like we did!

The first ranch we took photos at was Sarah’s grandfather’s and the next was her cousin’s ranch. We love when couples utilize meaningful places for pictures such as family properties or significant locations to them. A big part of their relationship has taken place around the Agriculture community and we loved incorporating Sarah’s rich family history into this!

Read MoreHappy October! I can’t believe September has now come and gone. It feels like we’ve blinked and the month is completely over. Pumpkin everything is in the air and I’m looking forward to all the beautiful leaves starting to change here in Northern California where we live. In years past, October has stayed relatively warm up until Halloween. As I’m sitting here writing this, we just had our first small rain storm which I’m SO happy about! Both Stephen and I prefer colder weather where we can bundle up and not be sweating all the time. This is especially true on wedding days.
Read MoreOver the years, we’ve been able to explore many iconic locations that we’d recommend to any couple looking for engagement photo spots in San Francisco. Even with the amount of times we’ve traveled to the city, there are still plenty of locations we would love to photograph. This blog post was created as a resource for our Bay Area couples but as well as anyone wanting photos in San Francisco. We’re including our own engagement sessions from areas we’d recommend as well as engagement locations we’d love to explore in the future!
Read MoreWe first met Lexi in 2017 at her best friend Eryn’s wedding. We were the videographers for Eryn and Greg’s amazing Santa Cruz wedding at Rancho Soquel. Lexi was Eryn’s maid of honor. She gave the most heartfelt speech about her best friend, their time together at Chico State, and lots of fun memories in between!
Read MoreA few weeks ago Stephen and I were in Mendocino for a beautiful wedding on the coast at the Heritage House Resort. The wedding took place overlooking the cliffs and had the most spectacular views. Like most of our personal work, we only brought our medium format film camera. This time in particular, we chose only to shoot on our new Hasselblad so I could get used to using it faster for our newborn sessions. This camera is super fun as it’s all manual, has no batteries or anything. It shoots in a unique 6x6 square format which is fun and creatively challenging.
