A few weeks ago, Stephen and I were in Portland Maine for a very exciting destination wedding for one of our TréCreative couples. Although we would have loved to stay longer, our day and a half of sight seeing and exploring the beautiful state of Maine was just what we needed. The wedding we were originally there for went off without a hitch and after sleeping in the next day, we started grabbing coffee.

For this elopement, we all hiked through the Oneonta Gorge – Triple Falls with all our gear, waded through chest deep water so cold it knocked the wind out of you, and climbed over a slippery log jam to reach the ceremony spot. Was it worth it?? 100% YES! Once we arrived at the epic waterfall at the end of the gorge, it was breathtaking, a perfect spot for an adventurous couple’s wedding ceremony!

It wasn't until they were half way around the world that they met and started adventuring through life together. Most of their dating years were spent apart as they were both pursuing careers and big dreams in different countries. Although they are not currently living overseas, their adventures with for sure continue and now they will always have each other by their side. No more long goodbyes or Skype dates!
