We had the honor of filming and photographing Billy&Tristin’s ten-year vow renewal in one of the most beautiful locations on earth. Thirty of their closest friends and family all traveled from Nevada to California to witness Billy&Tristin recite their vows in a peaceful spot surrounded by gorgeous Redwood trees.

After a long and dry summer drought, the skies opened up and Chico was bombarded with rain! It was the first week of January and these two were planning the celebration of a lifetime. According to the forecast, rain was inevitable. Luckily, Aaron&Jessie had planned ahead and chose the perfect venue for a wet winter day, Lakeside Pavilion. With so many outdoor venue options in Chico, weddings can run into issues if the clouds overhead decide to downpour…but not at Lakeside! The ceremony was set up inside with guests seated at their reception tables, comfy and dry!

With wedding season in full gear again, we’ll be spending a lot of time in our car. Listening to podcasts and audio books has become one of our favorite pastimes together. Occasionally one of us will continue working while the other one drives, but Stephen especially looks forward to this time to re-charge.

Editing this film we couldn’t help but smile the entire time. These two have a joy that is truly contagious. From their heartfelt and hilarious vows, to their funky fresh dance moves, these two were such a pleasure to capture on film. Their wedding day was hot, but that didn’t phase these two one bit. They had cute white umbrellas ready for guests to shade themselves during the ceremony which was a great idea!

Nashville or bust has been the theme of this week’s travel! We’ve been out of the office for the almost an entire week for a destination wedding in Nashville before we head out to explore Atlanta. This trip has been a mix of work and exploring new places together and with friends!

This past week will be the last week for awhile that we’ll have a normal routine for another few weeks. Neither one of us are very good about unpacking after trips. For the next few weeks you can find us in San Francisco, Napa, Southern California, Atlanta, Nashville, and Florida! Some of the traveling we’re doing together for a wedding and a conference, but for others we’ll be flying solo.
