Wilson Vineyard Wedding - Clarksburg California - Cameron&Kristen

Where do we even begin with these two!?! Cameron&Kristen planned their wedding from afar in St. Louis where Cameron is currently going to medical school. These two have been friends since basically forever. They grew up together and after graduating from college, a little love spark was formed and these two soon started dating. Kristen soon moved to be closer to Cameron in Santa Barbra and then together they would both venture out to Missouri for this new adventure. Their wedding took place in Clarksburg close to their hometown near Sacramento. There was a perfectly cool breeze that swept over Wilson Vineyards as the couple said their vows. Family and friends traveled near and far to be with these two for a wonderful celebration!

Even though it was hot outside, these two didn't even show it! They had smiles on their faces all throughout their wedding day. From the Catholic ceremony at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in the heart of downtown Chico, to their gorgeous reception to follow at The Palms on the north end of town.

Detriot Mountain Minnesota Wedding Photography - Caleb&Brittney

Caleb and Brittney are the talented duo behind the amazing photography team located in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. I don't think we can quite put into words how excited we were for this wedding! We are humbled and honored to have been their wedding photographers and videographers for their memorable wedding day! Being wedding photographers themselves, you can image photos and video was at the top of their priority list! For that reason they made sure to schedule extra time in for portraits early in the day as well as during sunset on top of the mountain! I think we were both in photo heaven while working with these two, they were so easy going and natural in front of the cameras!

Paradise California Wedding Films - Micah&Stephanie

Micah&Stephanie are just so fun to be around. First off they're completely chill, like nothing phases these two! On the day of the wedding these two were so relaxed and at ease. They truly were "in the moment" and enjoyed every second of their day which is so important! They both have hilarious families with a lot of character to keep everyone laughing all day long.

Firehouse Restaurant Wedding - Old Town Sacramento - Dan&Allie

Dan&Allie were married in Old Town Sacramento at the Firehouse Restaurant in the back patio. If you have never walked around this charming part of Sacramento you really should! Old Town Sacramento is filled with quant shops, delightful treats and novel gifts.

Dan&Allie both got ready at The Citizen Hotel in downtown Sacramento in amazing suites with great natural light for photos! Not to mention the amazing yellow striped wallpaper, my favorite! Dan&Allie shared a intimate first look before we were of to Old Town Sacramento for their portraits. These two had smaller bridal parties, just including their sibling which was perfect for them!

You might remember these two from our amazing Snowy Tahoe Engagement Session or from our anniversary celebration blog posts we have written before. Sam&Carlie are our dear friends from high school and were both in our own bridal parties! Needless to say, this wedding was super special for us! As some of you saw on Instagram, Stephen played two roles in this wedding, photographer and groomsmen. This was our second time having this scenario and it won’t be the last either! It was such a joy to photograph our friends!

How did "TréCreative" Happen?

After thinking about this blog post, I can't help but wonder why it has taken this long to share! Maybe, I just assumed others knew, or maybe it's because we often share it in our client meetings. Anyways, recently we've been asked more and more what led us to start our business. And well, here it is! The story of TréCreative is amazing to me. I say this often and I totally mean it. I seriously never thought I would ever be a business owner or even a photographer for that matter. Stephen and I both had other plans! But the funny thing is, what we're now doing is more fulfilling than either of us could have ever dreamt. That's the beauty of stepping into the unknown.

Our lives have been flipped upside down - TréCreative Update

Like a piece of cloth flying in the breeze, sometimes the wind picks us up and carries us to a destination we could have never expected. Sometimes our homes and lives seem to be flipped upside down. This has been our lives lately. Since moving into our new home (which we love) the question has been raised about what matters most to us. We are given choices. Do we embrace the mess or let the mess take over. There have been those moments when the mess takes over and we feel overwhelmed. Then there have been moments of pure joy as we embrace this season of life we’re in.
