We had been looking forward to this wedding since the moment Ryan called us right after he proposed to Charlotte! Ryan is the brother of a past bride, Dani so we were incredibly excited to celebrate with this amazing family again. The couple had literally just gotten engaged a few hours before calling us wanting to find out dates that we were available. We were totally honored! They picked their date around our summer availability and the venue’s open dates. This doesn’t always happen but we feel super lucky to be one of the first to hear the news and celebrate with a couple!

We have been experienced some pretty unique weather here in Chico this past week. Usually, by the beginning of June much of our area in California experiences hot weather temperatures ranging from 90 to 100-degrees. This last week has been unusually cool but we can’t complain! It has been amazing, we’ve been able to spend more time in our backyard on our porch and soak in this amazing weather.

In the photography and videography industry, there’s a term often used for the day after a wedding. It’s called the wedding photographer “hangover”. This has nothing to do with any alcohol, it just means in the morning after a full wedding day you move a little slower and feel the many miles of walking from the day before! Even with this feeling the day after a wedding, we wouldn’t trade it for the world, we absolutely love what we do.
