I was about to graduate from high schoool and just wanted a really nice DSLR to document all the camp adventures I would be going on. I literally knew nothing how to compose a photo properly, what certain settings meant, or even how to use lightroom. My parents were a bit skeptical, as they rightfully should have been. Five hundred dollars for an eighteen-year-old was a lot of money especially since I just wanted it for my own personal pleasure!
Read MoreThis was the second year in a row attending Showit United in the great desert state of Arizona!Last week, we spent almost a week away from the TréCrib. We started off in Sacramento at a marriage retreat and then on Sunday we took a morning flight out to Pheonix Arizona. Showit is an amazing software company that gives creatives like us an easy to use platform for their online presence. Photographers came from all over the United States, Italy and even Ireland (shoutout to our new friend Donal!)! About six years ago, the team at Showit created and put together a photography conference. Each year, the conference has gotten even more awesome.

That promise was that we would get in front of the camera at least once a year and experience what our couples experience when having their pictures taken. We want to always remember each year of marriage. To take a break from the busyness of life and just be together! We always are learning something about ourselves, our own relationship and we always are learning new ways to love our couples as well!
